11 Champaign County residents in their seventies test positive for COVID-19

As of May 27, there have been 11 Champaign County residents in their seventies who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 902 residents in their seventies in the county who had been tested, meaning that one percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through May 27, there have been 580 confirmed COVID-19 cases and seven deaths from the coronavirus in Champaign County.
