Illinois women’s golf tied for 15th after two rounds at Landfall Tradition

Illinois women’s golf is tied for 15th place after two rounds at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, North Carolina. The team recorded a score of 297 (+9) in the second round.

Victoria Zheng led Illinois with an even-par 72, marking her third round leading the team this season. Zheng is tied for 22nd individually and is tied for fourth overall in total pars for the tournament. She had a bogey-free front nine, making six pars and three birdies.

Anna Ritter finished the second round with a 73 (+1), tying her for 17th place. Ritter is also tied for second in par 3 performance across the tournament.

Alexis Myers, Erica Lee, and Brielle Mapanao each shot 76 (+4) in the second round. Myers is tied for 69th, while Lee and Mapanao are tied for 80th place.

The final round of the tournament is scheduled to begin Sunday at 8:45 a.m. CT.
