Illinois will host Rutgers in a football game on Saturday, November 1 at 11 a.m. CT at Gies Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois. The matchup is part of the university's Dads Day tradition, which has been celebrated since 1920 to honor the fathers of Fighting Illini athletes.

Illinois enters the game with a record of 5-3 overall and 2-3 in Big Ten play, while Rutgers stands at 4-4 overall and 1-4 in conference games. This will be the tenth meeting between the two teams, with Illinois holding a 6-3 advantage and having won four of the last five encounters.

The game marks Illinois' fourth consecutive sellout, a streak not seen since the 2008 season. Tickets are no longer available for purchase; fans seeking tickets are directed to SeatGeek, the official ticket marketplace for Illinois Athletics.

Television coverage will be provided by FOX. Paul Burmeister will handle play-by-play duties, Jason Garrett will serve as analyst, and Zora Stephenson will report from the sidelines. Radio coverage is available through the Busey Bank Illini Sports Network with Brian Barnhart (play-by-play), Carey Davis (analyst), and Michael Martin (sideline).

Head coach Bret Bielema is scheduled to hold his weekly press conference on Monday at 1 p.m. CT. Fans can watch it live for free at FightingIllini.com/live.
