State House race: Democrat Yingling wins voter tally in Grant Township

Sam Yingling led Republican Ken Idstein in votes cast in Grant Township for the District 62 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Yingling appeared to outpace Idstein by a margin of 10.2 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Sam Yingling, won by a margin of 4.2 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Rod Drobinski, who received 1,099 votes to Yingling's 1,195.
