On June 21, 2025, Strides Shelter organized its annual summer BBQ event at Beardsley Park. The gathering aimed to unite Strides guests and staff with the broader community for an afternoon of conversations, grilled food, and entertainment.
The Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) supported the event by supplying tables, chairs, a speaker system, and games.
