68 Champaign County residents in their seventies test positive for COVID-19

As of September 19, there have been 68 Champaign County residents in their seventies who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 8,587 residents in their seventies in the county who had been tested, meaning that 0.8 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through September 19, there have been 4,320 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 20 deaths from the coronavirus in Champaign County.
