Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Ford County?

There were two offenders released on parole during the third quarter of 2019 that live in Ford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chambana Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Ford County were men. The younger parolee was a 44-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2019. The other was a 45-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was John F. Weller Jr. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2018 when he was 43 years old. He is now 45.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter of 2019 in each Ford County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
