Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Ford County?

There were four offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Ford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chambana Sun.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Ford County were men. The median age of the parolees was 31. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018, and the oldest was a 39-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brandon L. Jackson. He was convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2017 when he was 30 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Ford County municipality.
