Vermilion County voters approved the only referendum on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The Carroll Township Fire Protection referendum, "Shall the Trustees of Carroll Township Fire Protection District be elected, rather than appointed?" was approved by voters.
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 142 were in favor and 31 opposed the referendum.
