Village of Homer Buildings and Grounds Committee met October 24.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Attending: Ray Cunningham, Guy James, Joe Bear, Kevin Knott, Dave Hermes, Ryan Byerley
Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm.
There was no Community input.
Joe Bear presented the bids and plans he received from Illini FS, Cleary and Menards. The committee reviewed the plans in detail. The discussion of costs led to a consideration of using the existing garage. The Committee adjourned at 6:50 to review the physical space of the garage.
The Committee examined the possibility of using the garage space for rest rooms and potential concession Space.
The committee reconvened in the village hall at 7:12 pm.
A decision was made to recommend to the board the construction of two bathrooms in the existing garage and that the construction be done in house. Joe Bear made the motion and Kevin Knott seconded. The motion carried. Joe will prepare Some preliminary drawings of the plan described above.
The committee adjourned at 7:37 pm.
