Landscape Recycling Center in Urbana is thanking area residents and commercial landscapers who drop off leaves or branches with a discount coupon.
Community members who bring in at least one cubic yard, or about nine standard-size yard debris bags, will receive a coupon worth 20 percent off the purchase of LRC products.
Commercial landscapers or haulers are required to drop off at least five cubic yards of leaves or branches in exchange for the discount. One coupon can be earned each day.
The offer is good through Dec. 3 when the yard waste is brought to the LRC facility, located at 1210 E. University Ave.
The discount coupon can be used through April 30, 2017 on all LRC products, including sale and special promotion items. The 20 percent discount cannot be used toward the purchase of red/orange granite fines or pulverized topsoil. Only one coupon can be used on each transaction.
Coupons must be used on “cash and carry” transactions, and cannot be processed if the purchase cannot be hauled away in one visit. The discount cannot be used toward deliveries, and no “rain checks” will be granted for out-of-stock items.
