The Community Safety & Justice Division held its quarterly strategic meeting with Blueprint Partners and the evaluation team for the Community Gun Violence Reduction Blueprint. The gathering focused on continuing efforts to improve public safety in Champaign through collaboration and policy discussions.
During the meeting, participants engaged in both structured dialogue and team-building activities aimed at fostering innovation and reflection among stakeholders. A lunch meet-and-greet session included representatives from the Champaign Police Department and Unit 4 School District. This part of the event was designed to encourage communication, share ideas, and build stronger relationships between law enforcement, education officials, and community leaders.
