Iroquois-Ford FPD responds to five fires in 2017

Iroquois-Ford Fire Protection District responded to five calls in 2017 - 150 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Iroquois-Ford included five fires - two structure fires and three other fires.

In all, the department saw $20,000 in fire loss - or about $4,000 per fire.

The Iroquois-Ford Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $29,867 in 2017.
