Rep. Mary Miller, who represents Illinois’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, announced on November 8, 2025, that she has introduced legislation requiring military academies to accept the Classic Learning Test (CLT) as part of their admissions process.

In a post on X dated November 8, Miller stated: “America’s service academies should represent the highest ideals of our nation—courage, integrity, and intellect. The Classic Learning Test upholds those same ideals,”. She also directed followers to an exclusive report by Fox News journalist Jasmine Baehr regarding the bill: " Read the @FoxNews @JasmineSBaehr exclusive:" (November 8).

Later that day, Miller shared information about federal disaster relief available to businesses and nonprofits affected by environmental issues in Central Illinois. In her post from November 8, she wrote: “Great news for Central Illinois! The @SBAgov is offering low-interest disaster loans for small businesses and nonprofits in Coles County and the surrounding counties of Clark, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie, and Shelby impacted by this summer’s algal bloom. This relief”.

Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She previously won election victories over Erika Weaver in 2020 and Paul Lange in 2022 with significant margins.
