Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, shared several statements on her official social media account on November 5, 2025, addressing national politics, international human rights issues, and road safety.

In her first post of the day, Miller reflected on the anniversary of President Donald J. Trump’s election victory and commented on the current political climate. She wrote: "One year ago, the American people united behind President Donald J. Trump with a clear mandate to take our country back.

While Democrats spiral into chaos and shut down the government, America is roaring back to GREATNESS.

I’m proud to stand alongside President Trump in this" (November 5, 2025).

Later that evening, Miller turned her attention to religious persecution abroad. In a post concerning Nigeria she stated: "The persecution of Christians in Nigeria is an unspeakable evil that demands our full attention and immediate action. I stand strongly with President Trump and my colleagues in Congress who are working to hold the Nigerian government accountable and demand protection for" (November 5, 2025).

In a third message posted an hour later, Miller addressed domestic policy regarding road safety requirements: "Safe roads depend on drivers who can read and understand road signs in ENGLISH. This is common sense, and it’s non-negotiable." (November 5, 2025).

Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She won her seat by defeating Paul Lange in the general election held in 2022 with over seventy percent of the vote and previously defeated Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election by a similar margin.
