Canadian National is set to close Duncan Road at the railroad tracks between Springfield Avenue and Ridgewood Court for railway repairs. The closure will begin on Tuesday, November 4, and is scheduled to end on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, depending on weather conditions.
During this period, through traffic will not be allowed in the affected area. Detour routes will be marked with signage to guide drivers around the construction zone.
The roadwork aims to address necessary repairs at the railway crossing. The City of Champaign advises residents and commuters to plan alternate routes during the closure period.
