Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, used her social media platform on November 3, 2025, to criticize Democratic policies at both the state and federal levels.

On November 3, Miller posted: https://t.co/4FTzyPn8mo.

Later that day, she commented on the ongoing government shutdown in Washington. In a post timestamped November 3, 2025, she wrote: “It’s Day 34 of the Democrat Shutdown.

Working families are suffering.

Troops are missing paychecks.

Air traffic controllers are working without pay.

Democrats are inflicting real pain on Americans — all to earn praise from the Radical Left.”

That evening, Miller criticized recent actions by Illinois lawmakers regarding law enforcement near courthouses. On November 3, she stated: “Last week, Radical Illinois Democrats voted to bar federal law enforcement from arresting criminals in or near state courthouses — even within 1,000 feet.

They’re creating safe zones for cartels, human traffickers, and violent gangs. This is outrageous.”

Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She secured her seat with significant majorities in both the 2020 and 2022 general elections—defeating Erika Weaver with over seventy percent of the vote in 2020 and Paul Lange by a similar margin two years later.
