The University of Illinois men's golf team, ranked No. 10 in the NCAA men's golf team rankings, is set to begin its spring schedule at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Hawai'i. This marks their first stroke-play event since winning the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational last October.

The tournament will take place from February 13-15 at the Ocean Course at Hokuala, a par-70 course stretching over 7,098 yards and renowned for its oceanfront holes. The event features a field of 17 teams, including seven ranked within the top 50 nationally. Competing alongside Illinois are teams such as No. 16 Utah, No. 20 San Diego State, and host Hawai'i.

Illinois' lineup includes Jackson Buchanan as No.1 and Max Herendeen as No.2 among others, with Ethan Wilson and Joseph Buttress participating individually.

The Illini last participated in this tournament during the 2019-20 season where they secured a fourth-place finish before their season was cut short by COVID-19.

Live scoring will be available via Clippd Scoreboard with daily updates on FightingIllini.com.

Following this event, Illinois will compete in the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas from March 2-4.
