The Illinois Women's Tennis team is set to participate in the Notre Dame Invite, taking place from Friday through Sunday in South Bend, Indiana. The Fighting Illini will have nearly their entire roster competing, including Kida Ferrari, Ariel Madatali, Violeta Martinez, McKenna Schaefbauer, Rosie Seccia, Kasia Treiber, and Alice Xu.
Throughout the three-day event, the team will engage in both singles and doubles matches. Competing schools include Columbia, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Tulane.
Illinois will open the tournament facing athletes from Tulane on Friday. On Saturday, they are scheduled to compete against Michigan and Ohio State. The competition concludes on Sunday with a match against Columbia.
This marks the second tournament of the fall for these seven Illini athletes. Ferrari, Madatali, Martinez, and Seccia previously participated in the H-E-B Invite. Schaefbauer, Treiber, and Xu began their season at the ITA All-American Championships.
