Lane closure announced for Green Street due to water line repair

Illinois American Water has initiated a lane closure on Green Street to facilitate water line repairs. The westbound lane between Elm Street and Prairie Street was closed starting Monday, June 2, and is scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 13, 2025. Despite the closure, traffic flow will be maintained with one westbound and one eastbound lane remaining open.

The temporary measure is necessary to complete essential maintenance work on the water infrastructure in the area.
