Rep. Mary Miller, who represents Illinois’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on July 23 and 24 criticizing Becky Pringle, President of the National Education Association (NEA), and commenting on recent actions by the U.S. Olympic Committee regarding women’s sports.

On July 23, Miller wrote: "Meet Becky Pringle, the President of @NEAToday. This is the leader of America’s largest teachers union—screaming, ranting, and pushing a radical agenda. She’s unfit to serve and must resign. Our children deserve better! https://t.co/Xv2P97I6Jw"

The following day, Miller addressed developments in women’s athletics: "The U.S. Olympic Committee finally did what should’ve been done all along to protect women’s sports. This is a major win for fairness and for every female athlete pushed aside by the Left’s radical gender fantasies. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership and fearless https://t.co/951RDQLChE" In a subsequent tweet on July 24, she included only a link: "https://t.co/ptRRhoDTd8"
