Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district since 2021, has publicly joined Senator Josh Hawley in advocating for a ban on Chinese ownership of American land, according to her recent social media posts.
On July 24, 2025, Miller wrote: "BREAKING: Rep. Miller Joins Senator @HawleyMO in Effort to Ban Chinese Ownership of American Land

Later that afternoon, Miller reiterated her position by stating: "The CCP threatens America's national security. It is time to end their encroachment on American soil.

Mary Miller succeeded John Shimkus as representative for Illinois’ 15th district in 2021 and currently resides in Oakland, Illinois. She was born in Oak Park in 1959 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University.
