Paxton home prices rise in February 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2020 in Paxton rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $76,500 - a 7.7% increase over the $71,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Paxton in February 2019.

The median sales tax in Paxton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,035, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for February 2020.
