In June, the median sale price of a home in Champaign County fell by $15,000 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales decreased by 70.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

There were 75 homes sold in June, with a median sale price of $200,000 — a 7% decrease from the $215,000 median sale price during the same period of the previous year. In comparison, 253 homes were sold in Champaign County in June 2024.

Based on the latest available data from 2023, the median sales tax in Champaign County was $3,981, which stands at 2% of June's median home sale price.
