The Rantoul Board of Trustees held a special meeting March 12 to discuss infrastructure projects at the village.
The board also commended Hank Gamel for receiving a $150,000 grant for housing rehabilitation. The program will enlist high school students in learning skills as they work on local projects.
The board of trustees is in charge of the village's housing, schools, and development projects. It meets at 333 S. Tanner St.
