CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – University of Illinois offensive lineman Josh Kreutz was named to the 2024 watch list for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year by the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame on Thursday.

On August 9, 2024, April Faulkner from the Equity and Engagement Department volunteered with the School of Social Work to participate in an Immersive Simulation Experience for professional staff at the University. The goal of the simulation was to promote poverty awareness, increase understanding, and inspire local change by sensitizing participants to the realities of poverty.

Illinois soccer is set to start the 2024 season with a five-match homestand at Demirjian Park in Champaign. The team will face Wright State on Thursday and DePaul on Sunday, with kickoffs scheduled for 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. CT, respectively.
