Rep. Mary Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of updates on November 10, 2025, highlighting developments in military academy admissions and highway safety enforcement.

In her first post at 20:07 UTC, Miller wrote, "Under @SecWar, Military academies have started to accept the CLT as a standard for academic excellence. I introduced the Promoting Classical Learning Act with @SenatorBanks to ensure this standard is here to stay. Aptitude tests should measure intellect and character, not https://t.co/IZ6p7znNwu". The tweet references the adoption of the Classic Learning Test (CLT) by military academies and legislative efforts to support its continued use.

A subsequent post at 20:10 UTC contained only a link: "https://t.co/06RzcgS2px".

Later that evening at 22:54 UTC, Miller addressed transportation policy: "Secretary Duffy has removed over 7,000 illegal truckers from our highways for failing to meet basic English language proficiency. This is a major step toward restoring safety and protecting American jobs! https://t.co/lvCv1cFbfH".

Mary Miller began serving in Congress in 2021 after succeeding John Shimkus. She won her seat by defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with approximately 73.5% of the vote and was re-elected in 2022 against Paul Lange with about 71.2% of the vote.
