The city has issued 13 new single-family home permits in 2025, along with permits for 299 new multi-family dwelling units since the beginning of the year. This activity slightly surpasses the pace set in 2024, which concluded with 23 new single-family home permits and permits for 347 multi-family units.
Single-family homes are primarily being built on vacant lots within ongoing subdivisions such as Boulder Ridge, Legends of Champaign, and Jacobs Landing. Meanwhile, the new multi-family units are predominantly situated near Campustown, Downtown, and the In-Town Districts.
