On June 18, 2025, the Timberline Valley South Homeowners Association (HOA) finished a shoreline repair project at their detention basin next to Erin Drive. HOAs are tasked with maintaining common areas within their jurisdiction, including detention basins. Shoreline erosion can diminish a basin's capacity to hold water, and the resulting loose sediment contributes to algae growth and murky water, affecting the basin's ecosystem. The HOA applied for a small grant to assist in funding the repair work.
