Fighting Illini player Kendall Bostic has been included in the Women's College All-Star Game Watch List, sponsored by Herbalife. The list features 68 players from 51 programs and 15 conferences.
Bostic, a fifth-year student from Kokomo, Indiana, is having an impressive final year in collegiate basketball. She averages 16 points, 11.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and plays for 34.5 minutes per game. Since transferring to Illinois as a sophomore, she has started in 115 consecutive games and now holds the program's career rebounding record. This season, she has achieved a shooting percentage of 53% from the field, with additional percentages of 30.4% from three-point range and 87.5% from the free-throw line. Bostic also boasts 49 career double-doubles with Illinois.
During her final campaign, Bostic has received several accolades including Big Ten Player of the Week and AP Player of the Week Honorable Mention among others.
The Women's College All-Star Game will showcase top senior players on April 5 in Tampa at 3 p.m., airing on ESPN2. From over sixty players on the watch list, twenty will be chosen to participate in this event.
