Raina Terry and Ashlyn Philpot have been recognized with All-Big Ten honors following the conclusion of the 2024 regular volleyball season. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the league.

Terry, an Ohio native, received unanimous selection to the All-Big Ten First Team for the third consecutive year. She led the league in points per set with an average of 5.27 and ranked second in total points with 579.5. Her performance included 55 aces and 486 kills, placing her third in these categories within the league. Notably, she achieved double-figure kills in 29 out of 30 matches this season and led her team in kills during 26 matches.

"Terry is the only active Big Ten player with over 2,000 kills and over 200 aces," highlighting her remarkable career achievements.

Philpot earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team after starting all 30 matches for Illinois as a middle blocker. In her debut match at Huff Hall, she recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 10 blocks, a feat last accomplished by an Illini freshman middle blocker in 2015.

Philpot's notable performances include achieving double-digit kills in four Big Ten matches during her first season. Her efforts were recognized when she earned her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor.

In addition to these accolades, Christina Martinez Mundo received Illinois' Sportsmanship Award from the conference. The libero from Puerto Rico led her team with 381 digs this season.

The Fighting Illini will continue their season at the NCAA Volleyball Tournament against UNI on Friday at KFC Yum! Center, with coverage available on ESPN+.
