WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) released the following statement on the partisan witch-hunt against President Trump:
“Tonight, our nation witnessed an assault on democracy as Fani Willis, a partisan District Attorney, led a political witch-hunt aimed at punishing Joe Biden's chief political rival. The mugshot released tonight should be of Joe Biden, who sold out America while he was Vice President to rake in $20 million for the Biden Family from China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Romania. The House must impeach Biden to protect our country from his proven track record of corruption.
"I support Chairman Jim Jordan in his investigation into whether any federal funds are being abused for this local Democrat prosecutor’s own political agenda.
"The America First movement has never been stronger, and tonight, I join many of my constituents in offering my prayers and support for President Trump as he fights to defend our democracy from these attacks on the rule of law.”
