State Rep. Brad Halbrook (R-Shelbyville) is gearing up for more town hall meetings, with one coming up at 6 p.m. Monday at the Elizabeth Titus Memorial Library in Sullivan.
Halbrook announced the meeting Thursday.
“Plan to join me this Monday 2/20 at 6 p.m. in Sullivan. Special Guest State Sen. Steve McClure (R-Litchfield),” a release said. “Please RSVP your attendance plans here so that we can make proper accommodations."
Another one will follow at 6 p.m. Feb. 27 in Taylorsville.
That will be the third Monday in a row he has hosted town halls throughout his district, as he held one in Effingham on Monday. He also met with constituents in Mattoon during a Thursday session.
Halbrook said he uses town hall meetings to update voters and to get to know what’s on the minds of the people he represents.
Halbrook is a farmer and owner of a small business.
He was first appointed to the Illinois General Assembly to represent the 110th District in April 2012 and elected to the next term in November of that year. He currently represents District 107.
