In a Jan. 15 Facebook post, Rep. Brad Halbrook (R-Shelbyville) urged his constituents to tell him whether President Biden should be investigated or not.

“Media Reports: More classified documents found in Biden's Delaware garage, White House reveals White House lawyers say they immediately contacted the DOJ. Do you believe Pres. Biden should be investigated,” he wrote on Facebook.

Halbrook shared a link to a survey he was calling "Garagegate 2023" asking visitors to answer the question: "Do you think President Biden should be investigated?" and to provide their full addresses, email, and telephone number, as well as opting in to email updates or volunteering.

CNN reports that the White House has said batches of documents have been found on four separate occasions: Nov. 2, Dec. 20, Jan. 12 and Jan. 14. According to the CNN timeline.

On Nov. 2, Biden's personal attorneys found Obama-Biden administration records at the Penn Biden Center in Washington. They notified the National Archives on Nov. 3, and the next day the National Archives inspector general informed the Justice Department about the documents. The FBI and Justice Department began assessing the documents to determine whether the documents were classified and whether they were mishandled or not.

Between Jan. 9 and 12, the White House counsel's office confirmed that multiple documents marked "classified" had been found in Biden's private office and his home.

The White House has said that President Biden is cooperating fully with the investigation. White House counsel's office spokesman Ian Sams told reporters: [it’s] important to really understand the distinction here: President Biden is committed to doing the responsible thing and acting appropriately. His team acted promptly to disclose information to the proper authorities and is cooperating fully.”
