RANTOUL CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 137: A Student at JW Eater Junior High School Has Been Diagnosed With COVID-19

Rantoul City School District 137 issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.

We have become aware that a student at JW Eater Junior High School has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The last time the COVID-19 positive student was in the school setting while possibly contagious was January 27, 2021. 

We have also become aware of a student at Northview that has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The last time the COVID-19 positive student was in the school setting while possibly contagious was February 5th. 

We have also become aware of a student at Broadmeadow that has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The last time the COVID-19 positive student was in the school setting while possibly contagious was February 5th. 

Parents of any students suspected of close contact have been contacted and instructed to not return to school for the period of time the nurse determines.
