LaPlace home prices rise in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in LaPlace rose by $8,637.50 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $55,900 - a 18.3% increase over the $47,262.50 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in LaPlace in November 2016.

The median sales tax in LaPlace for 2017 was $1,106.07. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,028.20. This marks an increase of 7.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
