City of Gibson issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.
UPDATE:
For those residents who are currently under the boil order for yesterday's water main break: THE BOIL ORDER HAS BEEN LIFTED.
You will be receiving new door hangers shortly as an all-clear. I repeat: THIS MESSAGE IS ONLY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO RECEIVED DOOR HANGERS YESTERDAY NOTIFYING THEM OF THE BOIL ORDER. All water should return to normal coloring soon if it hasn't already. All water in town is now safe for consumption.
