State Rep. Chad Hays supports the ERA measure.
Illinois State Rep. Chad Hays (R-Danville) voted in support of the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment,” helping to pass the measure 72-45.
He was one of 10 House Republicans who voted Wednesday in favor of the resolution, which has been aggressively lobbied for by groups like Women's March Chicago.
Hays is not seeking re-election.
