Village of Rossville Finance & Purchasing Committee met Nov. 20.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Trustee Leaver called the meeting to order at 6:16 p.m. The meeting was held at the Rossville Municipal Building located at 120 East Attica Street in Rossville.

Committee members physically present-Trustees Leaver, Buck and Maden (arrived at 6:17 p.m.) Committee members absent –None Guests present were Mayor Queen, Clerk White, Trustees Lusk, Mahorney and Cornell, Adam Grimes representing Harris Agency Inc., Bob Spring representing IPMG, Aaron Golden representing IMLRMA and Dave Ballantyne representing Corkill Insurance Agency Inc.

Minutes of the October 16, 2017 committee meeting were presented. Motion was made by Leaver, seconded by Buck to dispense with the reading of the minutes and accept the minutes as presented. All members present voted yes.

Current bills were reviewed. Motion was made by Leaver, seconded by Buck to accept the bills as presented. All members voted yes.

Bids were received for the Village general liability and workmen’s comp insurance at the regular board meeting held on September 18, 2017. Aaron Golden, Village’s current insurance representative, prepared a spreadsheet of coverages and premiums (according to bid proposals received). Board members reviewed the proposals, spreadsheet and asked the insurance representatives questions. A motion to recommend and accept a proposal was not made at this time.

Motion was made by Leaver, seconded by Buck to adjourn the meeting. All members present voted yes. The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
