Rantoul to rezone Garrard Street property

The village of Rantoul Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Aug. 8 to rezone 214 S. Garrard St. as a residential property.

The Rantoul Plan Commission reviews preliminary and final plats for subdivisions within a mile and a half of the village; reviews applications for special use, zoning changes and requests for waivers of the Community Design Standards under the Zoning Ordinance; and makes recommendations to the village’s board of trustees.
