The village of Colfax recently released its December 2015 treasurer's report, posting a decrease in income of more than $20,000.
The village's accounts with the People's State Bank of Colfax registered $9,477 in general checking, $15,702 in water and sewer maintenance, $15,073 in water and sewer checking, $335 in Motor Fuel Tax checking, $5,243 in payroll checking, $74,104 in storm water, and $6,162 in utility taxes.
The village's money market accounts had $19,314 in its Motor Fuel Tax treasurer's pool, $153.29 in a police squad car account, and $123,173 in the treasurer's pool.
The village's total balance on Dec. 31 was $268,740.
