A Calumet City man is in custody following an investigation into a shooting incident from February 2024. According to the Champaign Police, the 34-year-old victim, who was treated for multiple potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds, was attacked while seated in his vehicle in his driveway. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Allen Williams, approached the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene on foot.
