U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress after replacing John Shimkus in 2021, posted a series of messages on her official X account between September 16 and 17, 2025. The posts covered tributes, constitutional commemoration, and criticisms of certain non-governmental organizations.

On September 16, Miller paid tribute to a public figure with the message: "Charlie Kirk will never be forgotten. https://t.co/t11U0lZpDF".

The following day, she commemorated Constitution Day by highlighting the anniversary of the U.S. Constitution’s completion. In her post dated September 17, Miller wrote: "On September 17, 1787, the Constitutional Convention completed the U.S. Constitution—the foundation of our Republic and the safeguard of our God-given, inalienable rights. It is our duty to defend the Founders’ vision of liberty and limited government.

Happy Constitution Day! https://t.co/fwEVNY4lUf".

Later that same day, Miller criticized left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs), stating: "Corrupt Left-wing NGOs are funding and fueling radicalism that threatens our Republic.

They must be exposed. They must be investigated. And they must be held accountable."

Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since winning election in 2020 against Erika Weaver with over 73% of the vote and securing re-election in 2022 against Paul Lange with more than 71% support from her constituents.
