Start times and television coverage have been announced for the 2025-26 Illinois Men's Basketball season. The full schedule is now available, and fans can plan to follow the team throughout the upcoming year.

Illinois Men's Basketball has experienced strong demand for tickets this season. All public season ticket inventory has sold out for the second consecutive year, and student season tickets sold out in a record 18 minutes, marking the fifth straight year of a complete sellout in that category. Mini-plan tickets remain available, with the five-game Illini Orange mini-plan currently on sale before single-game tickets become available.

Single-game ticket sales will open to I FUND members on October 20. The general public will have access starting October 24. Fans interested in early access are encouraged to join the I FUND for priority seating opportunities at State Farm Center.

Expectations are high for the Fighting Illini as they enter the new season with three returning starters from last year's squad, which recorded 22 wins, reached the NCAA Tournament Second Round, and finished with a final kenpom ranking of 17th.

Head coach Brad Underwood's tenure has seen significant success. Illinois leads Big Ten play over the past six years, securing three conference championships in five seasons. The team is among only four nationally to achieve six consecutive 20-win regular seasons and one of 13 programs with five straight NCAA Tournament appearances. Illinois also stands as the only Big Ten team with a winning league record each of the past six years.

"Fighting Illini Basketball has high expectations once again in 2025-26, with the team returning three starters from a 22-win campaign, NCAA Tournament Second Round appearance, and final kenpom ranking of 17th last season."

"Illinois is the winningest team in Big Ten play over the last six years of the Brad Underwood era and has won Big Ten championships in three of the last five seasons. During this stretch the Illini are one of only four teams nationally with six-straight 20-win regular seasons, one of 13 teams in the country to make five-straight NCAA Tournament appearances, and the only Big Ten team to post a winning league record in each of the last six years."
