Rep. Mary Miller, who represents Illinois’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, used her social media platform on September 16, 2025, to address several issues including immigration policy and school safety.

In a post made at 14:13 UTC, Miller criticized policies in certain states regarding driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants. She wrote, "Democrat-run sanctuary states are giving CDLs and driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, putting every American on the road at risk. I’m leading the fight to stop this madness and put the safety of Americans first!"

Later that day, at 15:10 UTC, Miller commented on the conduct of educators following a political assassination. She stated, "Any teacher who celebrates a political assassination has no business being anywhere near our children's classrooms."

By the evening of September 16, Miller referenced law enforcement actions in Chicago related to immigration enforcement. In her post at 20:05 UTC she said, " Operation At Large is underway in Chicago! Border Patrol agents are taking criminal illegal aliens off our streets. JB Pritzker can cry about it, but LAW & ORDER is winning and Illinois residents are safer. Thank you @POTUS, @Sec_Noem, and @ICEgov! "

Miller began serving in Congress in 2021 after succeeding John Shimkus as representative for Illinois’ 15th district. She won her seat by defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with over 73% of the vote and was re-elected in 2022 against Paul Lange with more than 71% support.
