On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Mikal Washington, Community Relations Specialist for Equity and Engagement, attended a workshop titled “Basics of AI for Businesses” at the Champaign Public Library. The event was hosted by IDOT and included several businesses featured in the City of Champaign’s Diversity Advancement Program (CDAP).
The workshop provided valuable insights on how businesses can effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their everyday operations. Attendees learned about the most practical AI platforms for various industries and explored strategies to enhance efficiency and innovation.
