Rep. Mary Miller, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 15th district since 2021, has recently shared her thoughts on social media regarding legislative matters and political figures.
On July 3, 2025, Rep. Miller urged support for legislation she referred to as the "Big Beautiful Bill." In her post, she encouraged collective action by stating, "Let’s get the Big Beautiful Bill across the finish line!! ".
Later that day, she expressed admiration for former President Donald Trump in another tweet. Rep. Miller characterized him as a "RELENTLESS FIGHTER" who consistently fulfills his promises. She called on Congress to contribute to this momentum by passing the bill she had previously mentioned: "President Trump is a RELENTLESS FIGHTER who has NEVER backed down and consistently DELIVERS on his promises time and time again. Now it’s time for Congress to do our part and pass the BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL!"
In a subsequent message posted later that afternoon, Rep. Miller responded to criticism from Hakeem Jeffries concerning President Trump's agricultural policies within the same piece of legislation. She dismissed these criticisms as falsehoods, asserting that "Hakeem Jeffries keeps attacking President Trump’s pro-farmer policies in the Big Beautiful Bill, claiming it will hurt farmers. HE’S LYING." She maintained that this bill would protect family farms following what she described as detrimental years under Joe Biden's administration.
Mary Miller was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 and currently resides in Oakland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University.
