Two sessions from the 2025 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference are now accessible on CGTV and Vimeo. Presented by the Equity and Engagement Department, these sessions emphasize ongoing initiatives to enhance public safety and community collaboration.
The first session is an update on the Gun Violence Reduction Blueprint. It provides historical context on the city's violence reduction strategy and details how Justice Victim Advocates collaborate with community partners to offer comprehensive support for those affected by gun violence.
The second video is a Community Coalition Overview that explains the origins and purpose of the Champaign County Community Coalition. This coalition aims to strengthen police-community relations, support youth development, promote engagement, and address systemic inequities through collaborative partnerships.
