Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congress member representing Illinois' 15th district since 2021, recently expressed her views on several controversial topics through social media posts. Born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 and residing in Oakland, Miller has been vocal about her stance on immigration and other issues.

On June 2, 2025, Rep. Mary Miller criticized the current administration's handling of immigration policies. In a tweet she stated: "Joe Biden, or whoever was running the show, let travesties like this happen. Millions have entered illegally, overstayed their visas, have shown no regard for our laws, and HATE AMERICA. These people are savages, and they must be deported—every single one."

Later that day, she addressed concerns regarding radical ideologies with another post at 02:16 UTC: "Radical Islamic ideology has no place in America, it must be eradicated."

In another statement on June 2nd at 16:19 UTC concerning public broadcasting services funded by taxpayer money, Miller expressed her disapproval of PBS’s content aimed at children. She tweeted: "PBS is shamelessly grooming our children while collecting taxpayer dollars. This is evil and should infuriate every parent in America. DEFUND!!"

Mary Miller graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BA degree and replaced John Shimkus as the representative of Illinois' 15th district.
