Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congress member representing Illinois' 15th district since 2021, shared her views on recent political matters through a series of tweets on June 2, 2025.

In one post, Rep. Miller emphasized the legal implications of crossing the U.S. border illegally. She stated that "Despite what many Democrats and activist judges claim, crossing the U.S. border illegally is a FEDERAL CRIME." The congresswoman asserted that this fact alone justifies deportation.

Later that day, she addressed President Trump's financial strategy in another tweet: "President Trump’s Rescissions Package slashes $9.4 BILLION in wasteful spending going towards USAID, PBS, and NPR — this is just the beginning." Rep. Miller urged Congress to expedite the process by stating, "Congress needs to stop stalling and bring it to the floor immediately."

The third tweet from Rep. Miller contained only a link without additional context or commentary: "https://t.co/MvsodulYY0."

Mary Miller was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 and currently resides in Oakland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University.
